Under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr Nyam Kar Lin, she presented her research entitled “Application of Hibiscus cannabinus L. KR9 (Kenaf) Leaves Extract As Skin Whitening and Anti-Aging Agents in Natural Cosmetic Prototype: Valorization of a by Product”.

The team’s invention “CuberClean” has leave a massive impression on the judging panel and won the gold award at the Asian youth innovation awards 2021 and the Association of British Inventors and Innovators Award. The team has created the eye cream with cucumber.

And the team gained the silver award at the International Innovation Awards under the Malaysian Technology Expo 2021. The competition entry that warranted this award is their fabrication and evaluation of transdermal Microneedles for a Recombinant Human Keratinocyte Growth Factor.
RECIPIENT OF THE FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH GRANT SCHEME
Assistant Professor Dr Zhooriyati Binti Sehu Mohamad and Assistant Professor Dr Crendy Tan Yen TengReceived the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme of RM 69,400 for her students’ two-year study. The title of her team’s research is “A Study of Views About Self-Empowerment with Happiness Using Meaning in Life and Optimism Among Adolescent Delinquents in Juvenile Detention Center”.
Additionally, she is part of a team that received RM100,000 worth of grant for their two-year research. The title of her team’s research is “A workplace flourishing model: Assessing the role of kindness and work engagement”.
