EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OF YOUNG CONSUMERS (EMERALD PUBLISHING)

For being appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of Young Consumers (Emerald Publishing) effective January 1, 2022. Young Consumers is currently ranked Q1 (first quartile) in Scopus and B in ABDC Journal Quality List as well as in Emerging Sources Citation Index (Clarivate Analytics). Dr Hiram is also the Brand Ambassador of Emerald Publishing in East Asia.

 

SUCCESSFULLY PUBLISHED AN IMPACTFUL ARTICLE

Congratulations to Assistant Professor Dr Ravinshankar Ram Mani from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences for successfully publishing an impactful article titled “A Clinical Update on the Prognostic Effect of microRNA Biomarkers for Survival Outcome in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis”, in Cancers (Q1, IF 6.639). The article belongs to a special issue of Cancers, “The Biomarkers for the Diagnosis and Prognosis in Cancer”.

SUCCESSFULLY PUBLISHED AN IMPACTFUL ARTICLE

Congratulations to Assistant Professor Dr Anand Gaurav from Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, for his latest 2021 publication in Journal of Molecular Liquids [JCR Impact Factor 2020 = 6.165, top 10% (Scopus) in Condensed Matter Physics, Materials Chemistry and Spectroscopy categories], titled: “Identification of Dual Inhibitor of Phosphodiesterase 1B/10A using Structure-Based Drug Design Approach”.

Using computational virtual screening, molecular dynamics and in vitro enzyme assays, Dr Anand and his collaborators in USCI University and University Malaya, discovered the first reported Dual Inhibitor of Phosphodiesterase 1B/10A.
