KUALA LUMPUR: UCSI University was recently recognised as a six-star university at Talentbank’s Employers’ top Choice Awards.

This comes after UCSI was voted as the top choice by employers for nine disciplines in Talentbank’s National Graduate Employability Index.

The nine disciplines are: Architecture and Building, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Event Management, Food Science Technology, Language Studies, Logistics, Marketing and Mechatronics Engineering.

UCSI deputy vice-chancellor (Academic and Internationalisation) Prof Datuk Dr Rohana Yusof said that industry recognition showed that the University was maintaining its long track record of industry relevance.

“We are honoured to be recognised by Talentbank as one of the top picks for employers in multiple disciplines,” she said at the awards ceremony that took place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

“This achievement underscores our commitment to provide quality education and prepare the future workforce to meet the demands of the global job market.”

The awards ceremony was also attended by Higher Education Deputy Secretary General (Policy) Dato’ Dr Haji Megat Sany, Higher Education Director General Prof Dr Azlinda binti Azman and Talentbank CEO Ben Ho.

Conducted annually, Talentbank’s Index evaluates graduate employability at Malaysian higher education institutions, drawing data from over 700 leading employers of various sizes.
