Marang, 04 February 2012 - On 4^th February 2012 (Saturday), a total of 123 students from UCSI University, UiTM Dungun and TESDEC college experienced the FIRST ever one-day (8.00am – 5.00pm) Student Development Programme at a workshop conducted by OsmanAffan SmartStudy & Consultant that focussed  on self-discovery, major memory techniques and effective learning. Themed "SMART Study Memory Skills", the Workshop successfully started at 8.00am with students registration, followed with the Welcome Remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr Keith Robert Thomas.  En.  Mohd. Hanis bin Jenalis was the speaker for this workshop, representing OsmanAffan SmartStudy & Consultant,  giving guidance based on an effective modul.

Listed below are the Workshop objectives :-

i.          To understand failure  to get excellent results  does not mean  not possessing  the ability to succeed in future

ii.         To use  three major memory techniques for easy recall of what they had learned:  smart study memory, learning style and basic time management

iii.        To believe that the learning process is very simple/easy especially if used correctly and effectively.

The workshop participants comprised 50 UCSI University students, 33 UiTM Dungun students and 4 TESDEC College students. This workshop organised by the Student Development & Counselling Unit in collaboration with Student Affairs successfully enabled to unite all the students from the different universities and courses learning together how aspects of the Mind, Memory and Time can be incorporated to produce  students of excellence.
