Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. To supervise the Co-Op Education Centre & Job Placement Centre staff (i.e. For Planning, Placement, Monitoring and Evaluation).
2. To continue establishing professional relationship with relevant UCSI University staff, external professional body, and employers.
3. To undertake all development of the Co-Op 3rd and 2nd Tier as well as to solicit the sponsorship and scholarship from the Co-op partners.
4. To manage career services for graduates which includes organizing and coordinating the Campus Career Fair annually.
5. To be aware of up-to-date career fields and changes in the job market.
6. To provide career development and job search counselling to the university students and alumni in both individual and group settings.
7. To develop and plan for regular outreach efforts, including workshops as well as presentations to classes, student clubs and organizations.
8. To develop and maintain an advertising strategy specifically designed to attract more students to the on-campus recruiting schedule and on-line career services.
9. To disseminate employment and internship opportunities to appropriate faculty, organizations, and students.
10. To participate in employer development activities including employer visitations, advisory boards and on-campus recruiting, and the development of job and internship leads.
Requirements
- At least a Master’s Degree in Business Administration or other relevant fields.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the education industry, with 3- years of managerial experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Pro-active and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
- A good team player who possesses a mature attitude and is able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
- Possess own transport.
