LSA Holds Career Talk By DELL

UCSI University’s Logistics Student Association (LSA) recently invited Christopher Choong from DELL Malaysia to give a career talk to Logistics and Supply Management students. The purpose of this talk was to explore DELL’s supply chain operations.

As the best supply chain in the world, DELL managed to incorporate the push and pull operation in order to meet the market demand. Students learned how DELL overcame major logistics problems such as cost, delivery time, manpower, customer satisfaction, etc. in order to become competitive in the market.

Before the end of the talk, Choong presented the latest DELL products to students, even showing the interior components and hardware of a DELL laptop.

With 15 years of working experience across Dell Malaysia, Choong started his career in New Product Introduction, Quality, Customer Care, Online Business Development and then a PA to the General Manager. His most recent role was managing the South Asia Brand for Inspiron and XPS. Last but not least, he is also a speaker for International Toastmaster events and a motivational speaker for many other companies and social groups.

Choong’s presentation was very interesting and motivational as he shared his knowledge and experiences with the students. The feedback from students was also good as they enjoyed the talk and learned a lot too.
