UCSI University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Executive Chairman Dr Fadhlullah Suhaimi Abdul Malek on 22 March 2022, to establish strategic collaboration on 5G technology research and application.
The National Young Chef’s Challenge was organised by UCSI University’s Faculty of Hospitality, Tourism, and Management with the support from the Gastronomy Association of Malaysia and World Association Masterchef. The theme for this event is to create a vegan dish, where participants get the chance to shine and showcase their culinary skills to create vegan-based cuisine.
UCSI University launches the UCSI-Cheras Low Carbon Innovation Hub Research Consortium successfully by the representative of Kuala Lumpur Mayor, Tuan Haji Rosli bin Nordin, Senior Deputy Director of the City Planning Department (Research and Development Coordination Sector) DBKL on 10 March 2022.
UCSI University and the Finance Accreditation Agency (FAA) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on 23 February 2022. The ceremony is a significant milestone for both organisations in their efforts to promote lifelong learning for those in the financial services industry.
UCSI University has signed a memorandum of understanding with Nets EcoVenture, which among others will see the university receiving a RM1 million research endowment to work on a low carbon initiative. The MoU was signed between UCSI University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr Siti Hamisah Tapsir and Nets Group of Companies Director, Teh Leong Sim at UCSI University’s campus on 20 January 2022.
In the continual response to the plight of the flood victims back in December 2021, UCSI University’s Pro-Chancellor, Tunku Zain Al-Abidin Tuanku Muhriz, has initiated a Flood Relief Concert on 8 January 2022. The concert was organised by UCSI’s Institute of Music to raise funds for this much-needed cause in collaboration with Lions Club Of KL Capital and BSMM Negeri Selangor.
